    Photos for Photo Memory Quilts are printed using Brothers Print Moda Studio Printer.
  • What is the ink used to print the photos for the Photo Memory Quilts?
    The Ink used for photos is a dye pigment that is washable. (Please follow the washing instructions that you will receive with your finished quilt.)
  • Is a deposit required for all quilt orders?
    Yes. Because each quilt is a custom order specific to the customer making it, a deposit is required.
  • What machine is used to complete the quilting?
    A Handi Quilter Amara 20 on a 12-foot frame is used to complete the quilting.
  • What is the time from order to shipping of the completed quilts?
    The average time from quilt order to completion for a custom photo memory quilt is 6 to 8 weeks.
  • What fabrics are used in the construction of custom quilts?
    The fabrics used in the construction of Photo memory quilts are 100% cotton, unless there is a special fabric the customer requests or sends to be included in the quilt. Fabric added to t-shirt quilts for sashing is 100% cotton as well. Fabric used for Photo Pixel Quilts are 100% cotton also.
  • How do I care for my Custom quilt?
    Your Photo Memory Quilt photos are printed on cotton fabric with a high-quality pigment-based ink made just for this purpose. Please follow these quilt care instructions to enjoy many years with your Photo memory quilt . The same care should be used for your Custom Pixel and T-shirt Quilts as well.
  • Do you ship quilts?
    Yes, Seams Sewn will ship your quilt to you or your gift recipient once it is completed and your final cost are paid.
  • What is your return policy?
    Photo memory quilts, Pixel Quilts and T-shirt quilts are custom made to order. They cannot be returned.
  • What if something happens to my quilt and it needs to be repaired?
    If care instructions have not been followed, Seams Sewn is not liable for damage to your quilt. If you Seams Sewn product needs a repair, send a photo with your explanation of the damage to seamsewer1@seams-sewn.com .
