A Pixel is short for “picture element” and is the smallest unit of a digital image or display. It is a tiny square or dot that represents a single point of color (Lenovo Definition). A pixel quilt is a labor-intensive quilt that is created by sewing together one-and-a-quarter-inch squares or larger to create a fabric representation of your favorite image. Pixel quilts can be created in color or black and white.

Available sizes: Medium 54” x 72” | Large 72” x 96”.

Please Note: To have a clear pattern created for the pixel quilt one should select four to five high-resolution photos to see which will create the best pattern. Embroidery can be added for an additional charge.

Payment At Initial Booking

Please note that a $375 for Medium sized or $500 for Large sized Pixel Quilt non-refundable retainer will be due upon booking. This will serve to reserve your spot, source materials and begin the custom design for your quilt. The final cost / balance of your custom product will be calculated when you finalize your design. That grand total will be due before delivery.

All sales of pixel quilts are final; it is a custom product that cannot be resold. Made in Georgia, USA.

Would you like a solid or print fabric for your binding? The binding is the fabric that is used to frame the border or edge of your quilt.

Solid

I will provide the cotton fabric for my binding.

What color fabric would you like for your backing? The backing is the underside or back of the quilt.

What batting would you like? The batting is the pillow-like fluff layer in the middle of the top and backing of the quilt.

Following the submission of this form, expect to receive an email from seamsewer1@seams-sewn.com within 4-5 business days to schedule a call to confirm your order and answer your questions. Once we have agreed upon a design and you confirm via email, the request will then be entered into my work queue. Please note, it can take 4-6 weeks to complete your order.
