T-Shirt Memory Quilts are fun ways to capture memories of high school, social clubs, college experience, workers’ unions, sports teams, hobbies, sororities, fraternities you name it. Once you decide you’d like a t-shirt memory quilt, the first step is to collect your t-shirts. Once you have collected your shirts you can use the size chart below to determine what size t-shirt quilt you can order.

T-Shirt Selection

Once you have decided on your number of shirts and the size of your t-shirt quilt, take a look at each t-shirt, front and back. If there is a side that you do not wish to have included in your quilt, please mark that side with painters or masking tape.
Do Not cut your shirts; I will take care of that.

Next Step

When you are ready to order your T-shirt memory quilt, complete the quilt request form below. Once your request is received, you will receive an email with the address to which you are to mail your t-shirts. If you are within the Atlanta area, other options may be available for delivery of your t-shirts to Seams Sewn.

Please note that a $275 non-refundable retainer will be due when you submit your order for your t-shirt quilt. This will serve to reserve your spot, source materials and begin the custom design for your t-shirt quilt. The final cost / balance of your custom product will be calculated when you finalize your design. That grand total will be due before delivery.

Additional Charges & Costs:

There are additional costs for adding photos and embroidery to your t-shirt quilt.
There is also a charge for sashing (fabric sewn around your t-shirt block), batting, backing, and binding; these charges will be added when your design is finalized.

Balance Due

The balance for your custom t-shirt quilt is due before your completed item is shipped or delivered. As your quilt is constructed, progress photos will be shared so that you will know when the project is nearing completion.

What colors would you like to incorporate in your quilt? Do you want only solid colors, prints, or would you like a combination of both? If you have color samples, please share them via email if possible.

Would you like to incorporate photos in your t-shirt quilt. You can have single photos in a block or a collage of photos in a block or both.

*Note: Additional costs apply per photo block. Photos of high resolution and quality are best, however; with the use of a photo enhancing app, I will try my best to make old and low resolution photos presentable on your quilt blocks.

Do you have another special garment/fabric that you would like to send me to incorporate into your t-shirt quilt? What is it?

Would you like a solid or print fabric for your binding? The binding is the fabric that is used to frame the border or edge of your quilt.

I will provide the cotton fabric for my binding.

What color fabric would you like for your backing? The backing is the underside or back of the quilt.

What batting would you like? The batting is the pillow-like fluff layer in the middle of the top and backing of the quilt.

Following the submission of this form, expect to receive an email from seamsewer1@seams-sewn.com within 4-5 business days to schedule a call to confirm your order and answer your questions. Once we have agreed upon a design and you confirm via email, the request will then be entered into my work queue. Please note, it can take 4-6 weeks to complete your order.
